 Limitations of Planning ( ആസൂത്രണത്തിന്റെ പരിമിതികൾ)

1. Planning leads to Rigidity (ആസൂത്രണം കർക്കശതയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു):  Planning restricts the individual skill, initiative and creativity,because employees are required to work strictly in accordance with the plans. :മാനേജർമാരും കീഴുദ്യാഗസ്ഥരും പദ്ധതികൾ കർശനമായി പാലിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്സ്വാ അതു കൊണ്ട്  സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമില്ല.

2. Planning may not work in dynamic environment ( ചലനാത്മകമായ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചേക്കില്ല): The scope for planning is limited upto a certain extent especially in the organizations having rapid changing situations . ബിസിനസ് അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലെ എല്ലാ മാറ്റങ്ങളും ആസൂത്രണത്തിന് കൃത്യമായി മുൻകൂട്ടി കാണാൻ കഴിയില്ല. അതിനാൽ ഫലപ്രദമായ ആസൂത്രണത്തിന് തടസ്സങ്ങളുണ്ടാകാം.

3. Planning reduces creativity (സർഗ്ഗാത്മകതയെ കുറയ്ക്കുന്നു): Managers at middle and lower levels are just implementing the plans formulated by the top management, thus it reduces the creativity among them. മികച്ച മാനേജുമെന്റ് നടത്തുന്ന ഒരു പ്രവർത്തനമാണ് ആസൂത്രണം.സാധാരണയായി, ബാക്കിയുള്ള അംഗങ്ങളെ പദ്ധതികളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യതിചലിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കുകയാ സ്വന്തമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കുകയോ ഇല്ല. അങ്ങനെ, അവയിലെ മിക്ക സംരംഭങ്ങളും സർഗ്ഗാത്മകതയും കുറയുന്നു.

4. Huge Cost ( വലിയ ചിലവുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു): Planning is a very expensive and time consuming process which involves the collection of data, analysis, interpretation etc. Hence it is not suitable for small concerns. വിദഗ്ദ്ധരുടെ സേവനങ്ങൾ ആവശ്യമായി വരുന്ന ശേഖരണം, വിശകലനം,വിവരങ്ങളുടെ വിലയിരുത്തൽ തുടങ്ങിയവ ആസൂത്രണത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.അങ്ങനെ ആസൂത്രണം ഒരു ചിലവേറിയ കാര്യമാണ്.

5. Time consuming ( സമയമെടുക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയയാണ്): Sometimes plans to be drawn up take so much time, but there is no much time left for their implementation. ഡാറ്റയുടെയും വിവരങ്ങളുടെയും ശേഖരണം, വിശകലനം, വിലയിരുത്തൽ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് ധാരാളം സമയം ആവശ്യമാണ്. 

6. Does not guarantee success ( ആസൂത്രണം വിജയം ഉറപ്പുനൽകുന്നില്ല) : Planning may create a false sense of security in the organization that everything is going smooth; it affects independent thinking and creativity of managers. എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും പ്ലാനുകളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു  പ്രശ്നങ്ങളൊന്നും ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ലെന്നും ഉള്ള തെറ്റായ ഒരു സുരക്ഷിതത്വ ബോധം  ആസൂത്രണം വഴി ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു . ഇത് വിജയത്തിന് പകരം പരാജയത്തിലേക്ക് നയിച്ചേക്കാം.
