 (I)Provide the manager with useful insight into reality ( യാഥാർഥ്യത്തെ കുറിച്ച് മാനേജർമാർക്ക് ഉപകാരപ്രദമായ  ഉൾക്കാഴ്ച്ച നൽകുന്നു):   Management principles act as guidelines for the managers. These principles improve knowledge, ability and understanding of managers under various managerial situations. The effects of these principles help the managers to learn from their mistakes. മാനേജ്മെൻ്റ് തത്വങ്ങൾ വിവിധ സാഹര്യങ്ങളെ നേരിടാനുള്ള അറിവും ഉൾക്കാഴ്ച്ചയും നൽകുന്നു.

(ii) Optimum utilisation of resources (  വിഭവങ്ങളുടെ പരമാവധി വിനിയോഗം) :Several principles of management aim at optimum utilisation of all types of resources for the attainment of organisational goals, e.g. principles of division of work, discipline, unity of direction, order, etc facilitate better utilisation of human efforts and physical resources. സ്ഥാപനത്തിൻ്റെ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ നേടുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി പണം, മനുഷ്യ ശ്രമങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയ വിഭവങ്ങളെ ഫലപ്രദമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
(iii)  Scientific decisions (  ശാസ്ത്രീയ തീരുമാനക്കൾ): The knowledge of management principles enables managers to learn the cause and effect relationship between variables operating in the organisation. They are able to develop a scientific and objective approach towards problem solving and decision-making. തത്വങ്ങൾ വിവിധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യ- കാരണ ബന്ധം അറിയാനും അതു വഴി ശാസ്ത്രീ യ മായ തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ എടുക്കാനും സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
(iv) Meeting changing environment requirements ( മാറുന്ന  പരിസ്ഥിതി ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റുക )  Every businessman has to cope up with the changes that are taking place in the business environment. Management principles train the managers to implement the changes in right direction and at right level in the organisation. മാറുന്ന പരിസ്ഥിതിക്കനുസരിച്ച് സ്ഥാപനത്തിൻ്റെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. 
(v) Fulfilling social responsibility ( സാമൂഹിക ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം നിറവേറ്റുക ): A manager is able to achieve efficiency and economy in the activities of his enterprise by applying management principles. These principles are aimed at maximising profits without loss of social value. In other words, management principles seek to ensure that the resources of the society are utilised fully and good quality products at fair prices are made available to society. ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങൾ ന്യായമായ വിലക്ക് ഉപഭോക്താവിന് ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നു.
